As featured by Houzz, this renovation in Black Rock transformed a very tired 1970’s brown brick unit into a light, airy, and spacious family home. Through the addition of a second storey, the 2 bedroom, one bathroom house of 140 square metres, became a four bedroom, two bathrooms home with 225 square metres to spread out in.
Even with the increase in size, careful planning was required to ensure layouts of each room maximised flow and enabled practical use of the space. We worked closely with our clients on the most suitable design that would best work for their lifestyle.
A restrained palette of charcoal, white, and oak help create a sense of flow throughout the home, and provide a neutral backdrop for the clients beautiful furniture and accessories.
